WordPress Launch Checklist
Status: This has two settings, Draft and Pending Review. If you are not ready to publish your blog post, you will select Draft. If your post requires review by another person or admin, you will mark this Pending Review.
Visibility: This is where you will decide who is going to see your post. Public is fully accessible by the public. Password Protected means that the content is hidden and only accessible if a password has been provided. Private means that this post is only visible to you, other editors and administrators – used for internal purposes.
Publish immediately – Select “Edit” and you can set the date and time you wish the post to publish. Leaving it set as it is will publish it now. Setting a future date and time will set the Publish button to Schedule. This is handy when you have several blogs you are writing at one time and you want to post them at different days and times.
