How do I launch my blog? Where do I start?
First off, congrats on starting your blog! Blogging is such a fun outlet and can lead to many exciting opportunities!
Here’s a blog post that walks you through launching your blog’s domain and hosting:
After that is all set up, it’s time to install a theme. You can view my themes here. With each theme purchase, comes a link to my theme documentation. I walk you through step-by-step on how to install your theme and set everything up. I include screenshots because I’m a visual learner and most of my clients are too. 🙂
NOTE: It doesn’t matter if it’s a .com, .org, .co etc. domain- just that it’s a self-hosted site! WordPress.org and wordpress.com simply refer to the type of WordPress- not to what your domains needs to end in. What’s the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org?
With wordpress.com, you get a domain set up like “yoursitename.wordpress.com”. With that set up, wordpress.comcontrols the design and you can’t upload and edit your own design. You have very limited control over what you do and add to your blog. You can google lots of articles on this as well.
With wordpress.org, you can download the open-source software and use it with any theme, like the themes from our shop! In order to do that, you have to have a domain name and hosting. So, wherever you’ve purchased your domain, I recommend getting hosting from the same place. My favorites are GoDaddy and BlueHost.
How do I tell if I’m using wordpress.com or wordpress.org? When you go to your login page, does it say WordPress.com at the top? Or just WordPress? If it says just ‘WordPress’ above the login area, then you’ve got the .org version and are good to go!View FAQ

Our themes aren’t specifically set-up for WooCommerce, but you can add WooCommerce to any theme you’d like! The styling from our themes will carry over.
